Dear President,
He writes a citizen and a militant party. Italy of Values, and especially of the center. And in times like these and with the government that we are, rather than protection we are obliged to defend ad oltranza;

A rinunciare al diritto di primogenitura e al diritto di veto. A chiamare in aiuto i cittadini, con le primarie, quando un civile confronto tra candidati e partiti non sortisce una sintesi condivisa.
Caro Presidente,
molti Italiani e io tra loro la consideriamo un alfiere del centrosinistra senza trattino, soprattutto perché ha incentrato la sua battaglia per la difesa di quei diritti di tutti che ora alcuni vorrebbero far divenire privilegi di pochi. A me pare che Luigi de Magistris abbia stimoli, motivazioni e storia personale tali da meritare il suo sostegno convinto . D’istinto ma rinforzato dalla riflessione consapevole. Perché è un uomo di centrosinistra senza trattino, perché si è battuto con la schiena dritta a tutela dei diritti di cui sopra,perché non ha avuto timore di schierarsi contro gli apparati dei partiti (compreso il proprio quando ne ha ravvisato la necessità), perché per amore della sua terra e con atto di generosità ha voluto raccogliere il pressante invito dei tanti Napoletani per bene che sono stanchi del Bassolinismo ma certo non vogliono precipitare in mano al Berlusconismo e ai suoi mentori campani.
Altre due riflessioni mi permetto di sottoporre. Al grande comunicatore che lei è faccio osservare che Napoli e il centrosinistra oggi hanno bisogno di una faccia giovane, fresca, sorridente, promettente. Napoli deve tornare gioiosa, orgogliosa ed ottimista.
All’uomo delle primarie, all’uomo del popolo faccio osservare che questo straordinario strumento di democrazia viene spesso delegittimato, depotenziato e strumentalizzato. Spesso in nome della realpolitik. A Napoli il Partito Democratico, imprescindibile alleato, le ha organizzate, effettuate, contestate e mai riconosciute. Il PD napoletano, so naïve and so fragmented in Naples can claim the right to veto or birthright? And can the national PD claim the right to choose the Mayor of Naples, Naples replacing the PD and ultimately to the Neapolitans? I do not think the Neapolitans will appreciate.
