The future is usually understood as an unstable landscape of events whose realization is directly related to the occurrence or not of the future. We read newspapers, do you dispute at the bar, there is indignant in the face of government malfeasance in office, thinking to himself that his fate is tied day after day choices quotas. Every government, every war, every step of social upheaval. The bad rulers will fall, and their laws will be eventually destroyed by common sense and readily imitated. And the same will happen to their successors, here in Italy (in the tiny country's geopolitical importance worldwide) as in any other country on the planet. With this, I do not mean that the political commitment, indignation towards corruption and illegality or the historical memory of the massacres is useless, indeed: they are essential conditions for how little, in the critical growth of the company. What I mean instead is that most ferocious of any complaint or criticism, what is truly important in social evolution is to prepare the ground for the development, and the ground is prepared using only the ' education of children. The value of education is fundamental, is the ingredient that allows future generations to correct the mistakes of the past, no matter what the immediate glaring mistakes that are being made, and ultimately is the only true and sound energy for change che può permettere di portare lo stato delle cose ad una situazione più efficiente, più equilibrata e più giusta. Bisogna rendersi conto insomma che i buoni cittadini sono stati innanzitutto bambini educati e cresciuti da buoni genitori e dalla loro maturità (formata e perfezionata nel corso della loro vita). E il compito essenziale di ogni genitore, in quanto cittadino e alla fin fine membro della razza umana, non è solo quello di crescere il bambino, dargli da mangiare e da vestire, o assisterlo al proprio matrimonio, ma soprattutto quello di donargli la propria visione del mondo, i propri valori, un punto iniziale da cui far partire l'opera di distruzione e revisione del figlio, alla ricerca di un nuovo bagaglio di valori da tramandare, possibilmente privo di alcuni difetti e auspicabilmente pieno di tanti nuovi miglioramenti.
Vedendo le cose in un intervallo di 500 anni, siamo come formiche. Piccole e inconsapevoli nella propria quotidianità ma essenziali ingranaggi che porteranno, in un modo o nell'altro, la società di domani ad essere quello sarà. Quindi diffidate dagli estremisti, dai disfattisti e dagli entusiasti, da coloro che esagerano l'importanza degli eventi, diffidate da coloro che sbandierano biechi ideali da supermercato o da mercatino dell'usato, diffidate da chiunque affermi di saper risolvere i problemi dal giorno alla notte. Diffidate da chi non sa ragionare, in termini di cause e conseguenze, cavalcando i decenni. Si sbagliano sooner or later they are wrong, if you are already missed.
